The Journey Begins

John Palmer and Jessie Patino began a conversation about a unique camping experience to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. John captured the vision for camping as a ministry through his experience with Ironwood Christian Camp in California.

Jessie’s experience with the retreat ministry of Tres Dias ignited his interest in a camp devoted to providing a spiritual renewal experience in a sequestered environment.

The two invited ten other men with similar interests to visit Ironwood Christian Camp for a crash course in the why’s and how’s of creating a camping venue.

This group returned with a clear vision and a Kingdom motivation to move ahead. And thus, the journey began.
